My love for working on cars began when I got my first project car — a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. When I first brought it home, it needed some work just to get running. I started by replacing the fuel pump, and over the course of a year, I tackled bigger jobs like replacing the Optispark (the car’s distributor), which required removing the radiator and water pump.
Since then, I’ve taken on all kinds of repairs and maintenance — from simple oil changes and spark plug replacements to more involved projects like installing a new exhaust system, starter, alternator, rotors, and brake pads.
I’ve worked in the automotive industry for four years and completed training in Maintenance and Light Repair, which helped me build my skills and turn my passion into a profession.
